Stream Side
We set out to our (current) home stream of the Wiesent as the location of our first shoot. Nestled in the heart of the Fränkische Schweiz, between the stony rock formations and tended farmland, the small chalk stream runs tranquilly through the German countryside.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese fish print technique, Gyotaku, we bring this ancient art into the next generation. The shirt features a Yodel Fishing Club print on the front chest and a large carp print on back has you seeing double. Keeping our streams clean, the shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and is Fair Wear and Oeko-Tex certified.

The Double Vision graphic is inspired by Gyotaku printing, a traditional Japanese method of printing fish, dating back to the mid-1800s. This form of nature printing was used by fishermen to record their catches and involves the process of coating your catch in semi ink and pressing the fish onto washi paper. We chose the common carp as the fish for our first print as this has a cultural significance for the Frankonian region. The graphic is finished with our version of a Hanko stamp.
We wanted a hoodie so we made this. Whether its a cooler day on the stream or just need some added comfort at home, the Yodel Fishing Club Hoodie makes for a great staple to your weekly rotation. Keeping our streams clean, the hoodie is made from an organic cotton and recycled polyester blend and is is Fair Wear and Oeko-Tex certified. A detailed embroidered Yodel wordmark on front and our little fish badge is applied above the cuff on the left sleeve. The double lined hood from main fabric and metal eyelets and draw cord ends finish this comfy piece.
